The Frozen 5K Challenge Course
This second FreezerBurn marks Oklahoma City's two-year tradition of a military-style obstacle course run in cold weather. We're giving you the excuse to wear clothes from head to toe while you scrape and drag your body across our challenge course littered with climbing walls, low-crawls, ropes, tires, ladders, logs, inclines, declines, and finishing in a pit of shockingly cold water we lovingly refer to as the PLUNGE (YES, it's optional). It'll be cold, it'll be dirty, and you're gonna get wet. So come celebrate a cold day in December with us. Break a sweat, catch a chill, and raise money for a worthy charity. Tis the Season, people!
The Oklahoma City
Athletic & Social Club
The Oklahoma City Athletic & Social Club was created to promote and host group oriented sporting events designed to get people moving and mingling. There is no more enjoyable way to stay active and meet like-minded people. So join the Oklahoma City Athletic & Social Club at one of our events and make some new friends while you strive for victory on the battlefield of the day.
COLD, WET & FUN!!!
Saturday, December 14th, we'll be starting waves of runners at 10:00 a.m. at the "Farm" located in Northeast Oklahoma City at Interstate 35 and Wilshire Boulevard. It'll be a cold morning in December when you join us for a frigid 3.1 mile military style obstacle course over the hills and through the woods, but we're not heading to Grandmother's house. Bring a friend, heck bring a whole team, and compete against others to see who can complete the course in the fastest time. Make a statement and dress like an elf, or that full body pink bunny suit you've had your eye on. You're already crazy enough to come out on a cold December morning so you might as well dress the part.
